Inspired by this performance of Martin Pasching (Enjolras) and Uwe Kroeger (Javert) at Les Mis Berlin 2004, reenacting their roles as Crown Prince Rudolf (Martin Pasching) and der Tod/Death (Uwe Kroeger) in Elisabeth das Musical.

Model for Enjolras is David Jakob (Enjolras in Les Mis Tecklenburg 2018) and Mark Seibert (der Tod in EdM, various productions)

Enjolras screaming „Grantaire, Grantaire“ as he sees Grantaire‘s dead body on the barricade in the Les Mis Tecklenburg production before he gets shot himself, killed me.

Update: my mom loved the open air production of les mis so much she bought tickets for the derniere today!!! And holy shit it was emotional! (I cried a lot and my mom actually started crying before I did and I was like yaaas finally haha)

And they started it with a guy anouncing that a member of the main cast was ill and I was like noooo and the he was like yeah the guy who plays Javert is ill and I was like double nooo bc the Javert was amazing but then he anounced that the actor who usually plays R will play Javert (he already did ... 2 shows as Javert or something a month ago or something I'm not sure) so I thought niiice and holy shit. It was even better than expected and Javerts suicide holy. fucking. shit. I've never been so emotional during that song! (Also, since I knew the actor as R, when Javert climbs over the barricade and looks at all the dead barricade boys I just pretended it was R like yay au where R has gray hair und survives and then saves all the other barricade boys and marries Enjolras lmao but there are dreams that cannot beeee).

The Gavroche was super cute and SO SMALLLLL I wanted to cry.

And before drink with me courfeyrac and marius hugged really tight and I just thought yaaaas actual courf and marius interaction and friendship.

But also the way Enj went over to R and just looked at him during drink with me and R stares back and then just drinks and uuuugh the feels.

Aaaand during empty chairs, which, surprise surprise, made me cry a lot again, when the dead amis appear behind Marius and then disappear Marius turned back and looked at the place where they stood and I cried some more.

And, not directly show related, but after the applause the guy from the beginning came back on stage (idk who exactly he was if he was a producer or idk) and made a little speech bc it was the last performance of les mis there and at some point he went like "les miserables...the miserables...we are the miserables but I think we are the lucky ones, we are lucky and privileged to stand here and do this" which were some nice words and all but he then continued talking about how we here really are the lucky and privileged ones while there is so much suffering and war and bombs and everything and after a musical like les mis and in a situation like the one we live in that really hit me.

After the show we went to our car and I looked at the stars and was emotional and I suddenly saw a shooting star and I haven't seen one in years and I was just like?!?!?! You can't make me this emotional and then show me a shooting star I'm too emotional for thiiis...

Yeah that's it, I think. Sorry if this is a mess and also if nobody wants to read this but I'm in the car rn and I really needed to share this...

Javert in heaven !!

So, I recently saw Les Mis in Tecklenburg and IT WAS AMAZING!!

The cast was soooo talented and the ensemble was just awesome, also all of my respects to the orchestra, all of them did a great job!

So, I just wanted to share some of my experiences in this post because everyone needs the imagination of those in his life

These have literally no order, don’t tell me I didn’t warn you😅

First of all: Valjeans voice😍 IT WAS SO SOFT AND WARM

Little Cosette just being the purest thing on earth and being sooo talented, such a strong voice for that age!!!

Javert helping Valjean into his coat before Who am I and the two of them just sharing a really soft look

That lyrics sometimes xD ( translation: “before I put you with lust in chains” and I don’t even know wich song that was, all I remember are those lyrics😂 also, Valvert confirmed)

Grown Eponine being super tiny and precious (when she wears a coat at the barricade it almost goes down to her feet)

Grown Cosettes dress (so beautiful, and such a gorgeous shade of red)

Enjolras also being very tiny (he was the smallest of the amis, followed by Feuilly)

Feuilly just being all cute and hyped up (and kinda sounding like a german Nick Choksi)

The Thenardiers just being themselves and getting the whole audience to laugh their ass off

A guard accidentally dropping his gun behind the barricade and jumping after it and all of the Amis just hiding a laugh

R always staring longingly at Enj wherever he is

Gavroche just being a small cutie

Montparnasse using his knife to signal the Patron Minette where to go and almost smashing it into someones face

EVERYONE BEING BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEINGS

One of the Amis (couldn’t see who it was) casually spitting onto Javerts shoe who froze in shock

Enj sitting down and R standing up, walking over and sitting down next to Enj again, acting like nothing happened and Enj being pretty confused

R always looking disappointed when his marble lover of liberty is talking to someone else

Enj being the last one of the Amis to fall at the barricade and just walking around in shock, shaking some of his friends before noticing Grantaire and stumbling over to him, taking his head in his hands and letting out a really choked “Grantaire!” Before climbing the barricade, waving his flag, being shot and sliding down at the side, his head hanging next to R’s

Eponine screaming (or more like screaching) “ICH LIEBE IHN!” ( “I love him!”) completely out of melody during On my own and then carrying on with the melody again, leaving the whole audience with goosebumps

Marius’ hair!!!! (Falling to his shoulders, looking all curly and soft)

Javerts suicide, where he climbs up to the highest spot of the stage (wich is in front of a giant cross) and singing loudly, his voice being all broken and desperate, then shooting into his head and falling off the podest into a space the audience can’t see (seemed like a really deep fall, the whole audience gasped)

VALJEANS SOLOS

R and Enj having a staredown during Drink with me and R’s voice becoming a little shaky, since they were standing pretty close to each other

Gavroche jumping from a roof and being caught from a few ensemble members like nothing happened

Javert being captured by the Amis, Valjean walking up to him, kneeling behind him, putting his head near his’ by pulling his collar and singing dangerously into his ear (the whole scene looked kinda sexual😏)

All of the Amis being cuddly with some women during the whole barricade thing except of R and Enj, Enj standing on the barricade and R laying on the floor, just staring up to him all the time

Valjean unable to find the sleeve of his coat after being freed, but acting like nothing happened

Marius just casually jumping up a wall thats two feet higher than himself while singing (seriously, what is wrong with that dude?)

All of the Highnotes (the Cosette-ones, Valjeans @ the end of Bring him home and even one of Javert and so on)

Castle on the clouds (do I have to say more?)

Marius’ voice breaking at A little fall of rain

Thenardier always behaving like a frightened little child when he’s talking to Javert

Thenardier accidentally snorting into his hands and trying to wipe it off at Javerts coat, earning a cold look from him, then turning to his wife just to earn the same look and ending up standing there looking veeery scared

How they featured Javert in heaven😍😍

I could tell even more but I feel like those were the ones that I really would never forget😍

Also I’m sorry for language mistakes, I didn’t get much sleep😪

Cette édition de L'Euro Féminin 2022 vient de fermer ses portes. L'Angleterre, pays hôte, a glané le titre au terme d'une finale très disputée face à l'Allemagne. Le tournoi aura eu son lot de surprises et de révélations. Des stars du futur et des héros improbables ont émergé pendant l'Euro Féminin 2022. Tandis que d'autres se sont imposés comme les meilleurs du continent. Voici l'équipe type du tournoi Daphne van Domselaar (Pays-Bas), la révélation de l'Euro Féminin La gardienne néerlandaise Van Domselaar n'était même pas censée être titulaire lors de la défense du titre de son équipe. Mais la blessure de la capitaine lors du match d'ouverture a obligé sa doublure de 22 ans à se mettre sous les feux de la rampe. Van Veenendaal ayant annoncé sa retraite cette semaine, le flambeau est officiellement passé. Mapi Leon (Espagne) L'Angleterre savait qu'elle avait un défi différent à relever lorsqu'elle s'est alignée face à l'Espagne en quart de finale. Elles alignaient des victoires dominantes sur leurs adversaires en phase de groupe. L'équipe de Jorge Vilda est la meilleure équipe du tournoi en termes de possession et de précision des passes. Leur style tiki-taka magistral a semblé désarçonner les Lionnes. L'Angleterre n'a pas réussi à trouver le chemin des filets en première mi-temps. Leon a effectué 39 récupérations de balle, tandis que la star du FC Barcelone a également obtenu 22 corners, soit le nombre le plus élevé de cette édition de l'Euro Féminin. Beth Mead (Angleterre), soulier d'Or de L'Euro Féminin Mead est la lauréate du Soulier d'or avec six buts. Elle a été aidée par un brillant triplé lors de la victoire 8-0 de l'Angleterre sur la Norvège en phase de groupes. Cette victoire décisive contre une équipe de qualité a marqué un tournant dans ce tournoi. L'Angleterre a commencé à se demander si elle pouvait vraiment ramener le trophée à la maison. L'attaquante d'Arsenal, qui a profité de son absence de l'équipe britannique aux Jeux olympiques de Tokyo l'été dernier pour se mettre en valeur. Elle a ajouté cinq passes décisives au passage. Elle a notamment été à l'origine du but de Jonna Andersson lors du match d'ouverture 1-1 contre les Pays-Bas. Alexandra Popp (Allemagne) La rivale de Mead pour le Soulier d'or a inscrit les deux buts de la demi-finale 2-1 de l'Allemagne contre la France. Elle a ainsi établi un record. La capitaine a marqué au moins une fois lors des cinq matchs de l'Allemagne jusqu'à la finale. Aucune autre joueuse dans l'histoire de la compétition n'a marqué dans autant de rencontres au cours d'un même Euro Féminin. Des blessures l'ont empêché de participer aux deux dernières éditions. La malchance a repris ses droits juste avant le coup d'envoi à Wembley, puisqu'elle a été contrainte de sortir pour un problème musculaire lors de l'échauffement. Alessia Russo (Angleterre), la joueuse de l'Euro Féminin Ce tournoi a fermement établi la jeune femme de 23 ans comme l'une des plus brillantes lumières du pays pour l'avenir. La super-sub a marqué quatre fois avant la finale. Ce qui la place derrière Mead et Popp au classement des buteuses, même si elle n'a jamais été titularisée. Oh man David Jakobs is my most favourite Enjolras because he's super affectionate towards everyone. During DYHTPS you can see him everywhere, making sure no one's left behind in their marching before come towards to be the lead.

Highly recommened.
